Obituary for Grace M. (Rebelo) Harper
Grace M.(Rebelo) Harper, 91, of Springfield, died Tuesday Sept. 2, 2008. Born in Portugal, she lived in this country most of her life. She was a communicant of Holy Cross Church, and along with her late husband, William “ Bill” Harper, she managed the William J. Harper Inc. Co. of Springfield. She was also predeceased by all of her siblings and is survived by a son William Jr. and his wife Carolyn of Springfield, a daughter, Joyce Harper of Belchertown and a granddaughter Katherine R. Harper of W. Spfld., as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday morning at 10AM from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church at 11. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours are Monday morning only from 9-10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
