Obituary for Gregory A. Scyocurka
Gregory A. Scyocurka, 57, of Vernon, Ct, formerly of Ludlow, fell asleep in Christ on August 23, 2008.  Born in Ludlow, he grew up in Framingham where he was a graduate of South Framingham High School before moving to Connecticut in 1969.  Gregory was a computer programmer for many years for his fathers company Trans-Tek Inc.  He was also well traveled, often visiting Egypt and Europe and was one of the first western travelers to visit China and cross the Great Wall.  Gregory was the beloved son of Josephine (Pabis) Scyocurka, of South Windsor and the late Stephen Scyocurka; a loving brother to Mary Romeo and her husband Charles, of Somers, CT., Nancy Hamilton and her husband David, also of Somers; and the late Reverend Peter Scyocurka; a cherished uncle to Patrick, Christopher, Maximilian and Anastasia and also leaves many other loving family members and dear friends.  Funeral services will be on Tuesday morning at 9:00am from Ludlow Funeral Home, 432 East St. Ludlow, Ma. 01056 with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Immaculate Conception Church, 25 Parker St. Indian Orchard, Ma., followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery.  Visiting hours are on Monday evening from 4-7pm at the funeral home.
