Obituary for Helen (Gadowski) Lachowski
Helen (Gadowski) Lachowski, 86, of Wilbraham, passed away peacefully at home on July 22, 2011 with her loving daughter by her side. Born in Indian Orchard, a graduate of the Immaculate Conception and Springfield schools; and the Charles Gaugh Business School, she has lived in Wilbraham since 1968 and worked for many years at Monsanto before retiring. Helen was a faithful communicant of Immaculate Conception Church also belonging to the church’s Seniors and Rosary Sodality. She was also a member of the Polish National Alliance and Wilbraham Senior Center and Senior Citizens. Helen was the beloved wife of the late Stanley E. Lachowski, who predeceased her in 2002; the loving mother of Jean Mary Lachowski; a dear sister to the late Stanley and James Gadowski; and also leaves several extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 10am from Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11am in Immaculate Conception Church followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
