Obituary for Henriqueta De Jesus Loureiro
Henriqueta Loureiro, 84, of Ludlow was called safely home on Tuesday, February 19, 2008. Born in Portugal, she has lived in Ludlow since 1977 and was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Parish. Henriqueta leaves her loving sons; Joao Canelas and his wife Maria Aline, Miguel Canelas and his wife Lourdes and Jose Canelas and his wife Luisa, all of Ludlow; cherished grandchildren Anabela Pollock, Maria Fonseca, Gabriel Canelas and Diana Canelas as well as her great-granddaughter Sofia Fonseca, and the upcoming births of her 3 great-grandchildren; her caring son-in-law Jose Marques of Ludlow and her two brothers in Portugal, Elisio and Antonio Loureiro. Henriqueta was predeceased by her beloved husband Antonio Canelas, who passed away in 1954, a daughter Conceicao Marques in 2003 and her granddaughter Monica Canelas in 2007. Funeral services will be held on Friday Morning February 22nd, 2008 at 9:00am from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Our Lady of Fatima Church, followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday evening from 5-8pm.
