Obituary for Ilda (Ribeiro) Tereso
Ilda (Ribeiro) Tereso, 80, Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday April 26, 2023. Born in Turquel , Portugal to the late Jôao and Julia Ribeiro. Ilda immigrated to the United States in 1960. She was a very religious person and a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima for many years. She worked at CVS LUDLOW for most of her adult life and was in charge of the Hallmark Aisle where she made sure everything was always neatly organized. She was well known to many customers who she would often help there. She was a devoted wife to the late Manuel Tereso for 56 years. She was a loving and amazing mother to Richard and wife Clara and Kenneth and wife Laura. Granddaughters Alexa Walling and husband Anthony Walling , Jylian Tereso, Melanie Demers, and Madison Tereso; great granddaughters, Lilyana , Elliana, and Lennon; she also leaves her loving sisters, Maria Fillion who was her main caregiver her last few years, Dolores Pouliot , Irene Leandro, Grace Pestana , and the late Fernando Ribeiro and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services for Ilda will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, from the Ludlow Funeral Home. Visiting hours are Tuesday morning from 8:30AM to 10:15AM with a Liturgy of Christian Mass celebrated at 11:00Am in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Ilda’s memory to: St Jude Children’s Hospital @stjude.org.
