Obituary for Jack Nascimento
Jack Nascimento, 87, of Ludlow, died peacefully Monday, August 25, 2008. A life long resident of Ludlow, he was co-owner for many years of the T & J Auto Body Shop in Ludlow. He was a WW II Army veteran, serving in the European Theatre at battle campaigns in Normandy, Rhineland and Ardennes. Jack loved hunting, fishing and gardening, and was a member of the Unity A.C., Gremio Lusitano and Portuguese American Citizens Clubs; as well as the Lusitano Alumni Fans Assoc. He was predeceased by his loving wife Carmina “Connie” Nascimento, and his siblings Sebastian, Albert and Palmira Pereira. He is survived by 2 sons, James Nascimento and his wife Patricia , and Jack Nascimento Jr., all of Ludlow; a daughter, Nancy Swol and her husband Ron of Chicopee; his grandchildren; Jill, Jodi, and Troy Nascimento, Brian Swol, and Amy Kochanowski and her husband Justin. He also leaves 2 brothers Manuel “Pete” Nascimento, of Ludlow, and John “Pal” Nascimento, of Palmer; and several nieces and nephews. At Jack’s request all services were private.
