Obituary for Jacqueline I. Racine
Mrs. Jacqueline I. Racine, 82, of Ludlow was called home to be with God on Thursday February 16, 2006. Born in Montreal, Canada she has lived here in Ludlow since 1956 and was a faithful communicant of St. John the Baptist Church. Jacqueline leaves her loving children Paul Racine of Palmer, Nancy Mruk of Ludlow, Jane Benoit and her husband Craig of Monson and Janet Bicho also of Monson; caring brothers Gerard Racine and Jean-Guy Racine both of Canada and her sister Laure Cammaert of Canada; cherished grandchildren Bryan Mruk, Joseph Mruk, Jennie Olson, Sarah Bicho, Samantha Bicho, Ted Benoit and Brian Benoit; her niece Muriel Kragiel of Westfield as well as numerous nieces and nephews in upstate New York and Canada. Jacqueline was predeceased by her beloved husband JW. Rene Racine in 1997 and her siblings Maurice Racine, Theresa De Leemans and Jeanne De Leemans. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning February 21, 2006 at 9am from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. John the Baptist Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are Monday afternoon and evening from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Donations may be made in Jacqueline’s memory to St. John the Baptist School 207 Hubbard St. Ludlow, MA. 01056.
