Obituary for Jaime Santos
Jaime Santos, 87, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Monday March 3, 2014. Born in Meixide, Portugal to the late Henrique and Ricardina (Ferreira) DosSantos he has lived in Portugal for many years before returning to Ludlow a year ago where he was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church and a proud member of the Gremio Lusitano Club. Jaime was the beloved husband of the late Isaura (Gomes) Santos who predeceased him in August 2011. He leaves his loving daughter Albertina Lage and her husband Antonio of Ludlow; brother of Higino DosSantos and Maria Luzio both of Portugal; cherished grandfather to Denis Lage, Elsa Lage, Leslie Hill and Tiffany Gagnon; caring great-grandfather to Tristan, Gabriella, Lucas, Danika and Benjamin; devoted father-in-law to Olivia Goncalves. Sadly Jaime was also predeceased by his son Domingos Goncalves who passed away in January of this year. Funeral services will be held on Friday March 7, 2014 at 9:00am from the Ludlow Funeral Home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00am in Our lady of Fatima Church with burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday evening from 4:00-7:00pm.
