Obituary for James DaSilva
James DaSilva, 43, of Indian Orchard, passed away unexpectedly at home on January 26, 2022. James was the beloved son of Ilidio and Cynthia (Sajdak) DaSilva and grew up in Ludlow where he was a graduate of Ludlow High School. He was previously employed at Chemi-graphics in Ludlow and more recently for C&S Wholesale; and in his spare time, he loved golfing, fishing, and riding the waves at Hampton Beach. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Buffalo Bills, Boston Red Sox, and NASCAR. He also showed support in the community and local organizations by taking part in the Amelia Park Polar Plunge, Relay for Life Walk, and ringing the kettle bells for the Salvation Army at Christmas. James was the beloved grandson of the late Jose and Ana DaSilva and the late Stanley and Helen Sajdak; and in addition to his parents, he leaves his sisters Laurie Balboni and husband Matthew, and Michelle DaSilva and partner Scott Halkowicz; nieces and nephews Jacob, Vivianne, Juliana, and Jonathan, whom he showed such great pride; several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, dear friends, and his 2 beloved cats Princess and Chronic, whom he adored. All funeral services for James were held privately by Ludlow Funeral Home and in lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in his memory to Dakin Humane Society (dakin.org)
