Obituary for James Goodreau
James M. Goodreau, 58, of Ware passed away on Thursday August, 8, 2019. Born in Ludlow to the late Roy Goodreau Sr. and Jean (Butler) Goodreau, he has lived in Ware for many years, he was a longtime member of the Nenamesek Club in Palmer and worked for the MA. Department of Environmental Management and Department of Conservation and Recreation for almost 40 years. He leaves his loving siblings, sister Pamela Hayes and her husband Wayne of Ware, and brother Roy Goodreau Jr. and his wife Maria of Ludlow; caring nieces and nephews; Jim, Mark, Michael, Joseph, Jenna Goodreau and Nick, Danielle Hayes. Sadly, Jim was recently predeceased by his brother Gary “Red” Goodreau. A graveside service will be held for Jim on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Island Pond Cemetery in Ludlow beginning at 10:00am. Ludlow Funeral Home has been entrusted with his arrangements. For those wishing to make a donation to a charity in James’ name, please do so to the Springfield Rescue Mission.
