Obituary for Jane (Jasminicki) Hajowyj
Jane (Jasminicki) Hajowyj, 82, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Springfield, she has lived in Ludlow since 1951 where she raised her family and was a faithful communicant of St. Peter and St. Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church. Jane was the beloved wife of the late Mykola “Nick“ Hajowyj, who predeceased her in 2007; a loving mother to Natalie Hajowyj, of Ludlow, and Mark Hajowyj, of TX; a caring sister to Helen Falkowski and Evelyn Colson, both of CT; as well as several extended family members and dear friends in the community. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9:00AM from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. Peter and St. Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, with burial to follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Chicopee. Visiting hours are Thursday evening from 5-8pm, with Panakhyda services beginning at 6:30pm.
