Obituary for Jean C. (Kloberdanz) Kareta
Jean C. (Kloberdanz) Kareta, 82, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 8, 2012, surrounded by her loved ones. Born in New York, NY, daughter of the late Charles and Lillian Kloberdanz, she was a longtime resident of Ludlow and was employed at Tambrands in Palmer, Sears & Roebuck in Springfield, and Walgreens in Ludlow. Jean was predeceased by her beloved husband Stanley Kareta in 2001. She is survived by 2 loving sons: Stephen Kareta, his wife Denise and their daughter Leah, of Ludlow, and Kenneth Kareta, of Tempe, AZ; as well as many loving extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services for Jean will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Ludlow Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:00 concluding with a Celebration of Life Service at 12:00pm followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery.
