Obituary for Jeffrey Coelho
Jeffrey Coelho, 56, of Ludlow passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family in Hadley on Saturday, August 26, 2023 after a long battle with melanoma. He was the beloved son of the late Manuel Coelho, Jr. and survived by mother Mary Coelho (Monteiro). Jeff leaves his loving daughters, Alyssa Coelho and Avery Coelho, life partner Sara Golon Gladu and her daughters, Brianna Gladu and Audrey Bohl, her husband Matt, loving siblings Karen Ferreira, Sandra Polom and her husband Francis, and Kevin Coelho and his wife Dana. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many well-loved friends. He graduated from Ludlow High School, Captain of his Soccer Team, Class of 1985, and Southern New Hampshire with a degree in Management Information Systems. Jeff spent his career as a Technology Leader at MassMutual and DXC Technologies. He was well respected in his industry and very passionate about his work. Jeff was an avid soccer player, coach, and fan. He volunteered for many years for the Ludlow Youth Soccer Association (LYSA). He was a member of the Western Mass Liverpool Reds Fan Club. He loved family vacations at the beach, biking and hiking with friends, and making endless memories with his daughters. Funeral services for Jeffrey will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023. Family and friends are asked to gather directly at St. Cecilia's Church in Wilbraham for a 10:00am Liturgy of Christian Mass, after church his burial will be held privately by his family. Visiting hours for Jeff will be held at Ludlow Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 4:00-7:00pm. Jeff's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Haq and his team at the Dana-Farber Cancer Center for the exceptional care he received there.
