Obituary for Joanne Pereira
Joanne Marie Pereira, 61, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 11, 2016. She was born in Ludlow, MA to the late John and Jeannette Pereira. She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Freeman (Bednar), son-in-law Colt, grandson Noah and brothers James and Jeffrey Pereira. She is preceeded in death by brother John.  Joanne attended Holy Cross College and then lived in Northern Virginia.  She worked for American Airlines for over 38 years. She enjoyed family, travel, the arts and languages. Joanne is beloved by so many friends and will always be remembered as an amazing mother. A memorial service will be held at Ludlow Funeral Home on Saturday October 8, 2016 at 5:30pm, visitation will precede the service from 3:00-5:30pm. She will be buried in Fairfax, VA.
