Obituary for Joaquim F. DosSantos
Joaquim DosSantos, 80, of Ludlow, was called to Heaven on March 25, 2008. Born in Almeirim, Portugal, the son of the late Josue Fidalgo and Jacinta (Vareta), he was a member of the Portugese Army and came to Ludlow in 1966. He was the beloved husband of 52 years to Eudosia (Marcial) DosSantos; a loving father of Maria J. Nogueira and her husband Jose, of Ludlow,; a dear brother to Antonio Fidalgo, in Portugal; and a cherished grandfather to Michelle Morais and her husband Mike; and Brian Nogueira and his fiancée Jennifer Matthess; all of Ludlow. Joaquim also leaves several nephews in Portugal as well as many dear friends. All funeral services were held privately by the family.
