Obituary for John C. Plasse
John C. Plasse, 85, of Ludlow, was called home peacefully on January 26, 2017. Born in Springfield, he proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a proud member of the American Legion Post 277 of Indian Orchard. John retired from the Hamilton Standard Co. and was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Parish where he was a member of the League of Sacred Heart. He was the last surviving sibling of 8 brothers and sisters; and leaves his loving and caring wife Doris (Fontaine) Plasse; 2 sons, Normand Plasse and his wife Christine, of Belchertown, and Daniel Plasse and his wife Bonnie, of Warren; 2 daughters, Bernice Stadtlander, of Ludlow, and Debra Joy and her husband William Jr., of Hampden; as well as 10 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
