Obituary for Jose P. Morais
Jose P. Morais, 88, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Monday March 13th, 2023. Born in Vilar De Poro, Boticas, Portugal he has lived in Ludlow for many years and worked for Jahn Foundry for over 30 years before retiring in 1998. He leaves his beloved wife Delfina Morais of Ludlow; loving son Michael Morais of Ludlow and his adored grandchildren Riley and Avery Morais as well as many cherished family and friends. Jose’s family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses and staff at Mercy, Vantage Rehab and Baystate Wing Hospital for the compassionate care they showed him. Funeral services for Jose will be held on Monday March 20th, 2023. Visitation will be held privately by his family, but Jose’s family has requested that anyone wishing to attend his funeral Mass may do so by gathering directly at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Ludlow for a 10:00am Liturgy of Christian Mass followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Ludlow Funeral Home has been entrusted with his arrangements.
