Obituary for Jose Pereira
Jose Pereira, 85, of Ludlow was called home to be with God on Saturday  September 30, 2006. Born in Montalegre Portugal, he lived in Ludlow since 1968. Jose was a retired employee of Moore Drop Forge Co., a member of the Gremio Lusitano Club and a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Ludlow. He leaves his beloved wife of 63 years, Maria (Pires) Pereira, a son Armando Pereira of Ludlow, a daughter Bertilia Justo of N.Y., 4 grandchildren; Lina Justo-Sudul, Elisabete Fraga, Carla Shanahan and Marco Pereira, 6 great grandchildren; Chad, Nico, Shane, Hunter, Savanna and Dakota, as well as a brother in Portugal. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:00a.m. from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Monday evening from 5-8p.m.
