Obituary for Joseph E. Forcier
Joseph E. Forcier, 87, of Western Ma., formerly of Cocoa, FL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 17, 2018. Joseph was born in Chicopee to the late Aurora (Lebeau) Forcier and was a United States Army Veteran proudly serving his country during the Korean War. He was an entrepreneur owning many businesses here and in Florida. Upon retirement, he worked as a security officer in Cape Canaveral and in his spare time, enjoyed boating on the ocean. Joseph leaves his wife Elizabeth O’Connor, with whom he was together for 39 years; his loving children, Debra Ingalls and husband Kim, of Ludlow, John Forcier and fiance Maureen O’Gorman, of Belchertown, Patricia Young, of Auburndale, FL, and Robert Forcier, of Worcester; devoted grandchildren; Michael Ingalls, Elizabeth Nash, Joanna Forcier, Kimberly del Gallego, Jeremy Forcier, Jillian Forcier, Jeffrey Forcier, James Forcier, Jennifer Forcier, and Brielle Francis; 15 great grandchildren; and caring brother Gerald Forcier, of Ludlow. Joseph also leaves his step-daughter Liz O’Connor, of Chicopee, and sadly was predeceased by his step-son Daniel O’Connor. Funeral services for Joseph will be held privately by his family.
