Josephine was a faithful communicant of St. Elizabeth Parish, where she was a member of its St. Anne Sodality, and in her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, activities at the Ludlow Senior Center, and knitting many sweaters and afghans for family, friends, and many charity organizations.
Josephine was the beloved wife of the late Albert J. Ouellette; a loving mother to Susanne Ziencina and husband Theodore, of East Longmeadow, JoAnne Kaufman and husband Jeffrey, of Longmeadow, Kenneth Ouellette and wife Jane Marie, of Shrewsbury, and the late Michael Ouellette; a cherished grandmother of 9, including her late grandson Todd, great-grandmother of 7; dear sister to her 9 late brothers and sisters, and also leaves many loving extended family members and friends. Josephine’s family wishes to extend a special thank you to JGS Lifecare and Spectrum Hospice for the exceptional care they provided to her. Family and Friends are asked to gather directly in St. Elizabeth Parish for a Liturgy of Christian Burial on Tuesday, October 27th at 12pm. Burial with Military Honors will be held privately by the family in Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Josephine’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.
