Obituary for Joyce Kras
The world has lost a brilliant soul who will not be forgotten. Joyce was born November 21, 1959, to the late Frederick and Anna Kras. Joyce spent her entire life in Ludlow. She graduated from Ludlow High School and graduated at the top of her class at Smith College. Joyce lived her life as she wished. She loved horses, reading, puzzles, Ajax, costume jewelry and cruising through Big Y. There was not a puzzle that Joyce couldn't finish. Joyce spent a lot of time at the Ludlow Senior Center and especially loved going to eat with the Lunch Bunch where she never passed up a chance to have dessert. Joyce is survived by special friends Rita Tadeo, Pat Charbeneau and Debbie Johnson who were instrumental in keeping her comfortable in her final months.
Joyce will be missed by her cousins William J. Boyle, Ill and Sharon Boyle. We would like to thank CareOne at Redstone and Baystate VNA for their care of Joyce. All services were private.
