Obituary for Judith M. (Sevigne) DiGeorgio
Judith M. (Sevigne) DiGeorgio, 78, of West Springfield, passed away on May 17, 2021. Judy was one of 19 children born to the late Roger and Emily (Kitwood) Sevigne, She resided both in Western Ma and Florida, where she worked for many years as a chef at Patrick Air Force Base. She also enjoyed volunteering for the flagging of Brush Hill Park Mobile Home Park in honor of Veterans in West Springfield and spending time with her friends within her residential community. Judy was the beloved wife of the late James J. DiGeorgio; and leaves her siblings Dora Charest, of Ludlow, Jackie Lind and husband Marty, of Springfield, John Sevigne and partner Sherille, of Holyoke, Joan Eagan, of Feeding Hills, and Jerry Sevigne and wife Judie, of West Springfield; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services for Judy will be held in Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. Due to current cemetery restrictions, the services will be held by invitation by Judy’s family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org)
