Obituary for Julia J. (daSilva) Casimiro
Julia J. (daSilva) Casimiro, 84, of Indian Orchard, entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 9, 2013. Born in Turquel Portugal, she had lived in Ludlow and then in Indian Orchard since 1969. She was the widow of Manuel Casimiro, who died in 1973, and was sadly predeceased by her son Antonio in 1974, and a step-son Jose in 2011. She leaves her loving children; Faustino, and his wife Robin, Ramiro and his wife Lynn, all of Chicopee, Martinho, and his wife Madalena of Benedita Portugal, and Maria Casimiro of Indian Orchard, a brother and two sisters in Portugal, as well as grandchildren; Edgar, Jennifer and husband Timmy, Michael and wife Amanda, Andre, Juliana, Kevin and Alex, along with 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Julia will be Tuesday morning at 10:30 from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Church at 11am. Burial will be in Turquel, Portugal. Visiting hours will be Tuesday morning only from 9:00-10:30a.m.
