Obituary for Kathleen Ann (Alphonso) Nagy
Kathleen A. (Alphonso) Nagy, 68, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Ludlow, daughter of the late Louis and Ermina (Fernandes) Alphonso, she was a lifelong resident where she was a 1968 graduate of Ludlow H.S and a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church. Kathleen worked for many years at Associated Dental Lab and T & W Dental Lab and later was co-owner of K & K Chrome Dental for 20 years alongside her husband Kenneth. She was also a member of the Pioneer Valley Motorcycle Club for 15 years, an avid animal lover, and enjoyed car shows, but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her husband and family. Kathleen leaves her beloved husband of 44 years Kenneth J. Nagy and his children Scott Nagy and partner Robert Sherman, of Seekonk, Kimberly Reid and husband Clayon, of Chicopee; and their son Clayon Reid Jr.; a brother David Alphonso, of Ludlow; nieces and nephews Carlos Vaz, Maria Cicchetti, Kathleen Mateus, and Anthony Alphonso, and their families; her beloved dog Ebony; and several extended family members and friends. Sadly, Kathleen was predeceased by her sister Dorothy Vaz. Visiting hours are on Friday Dec 28th from 4:00-7:00pm in Ludlow Funeral Home. Funeral is on Saturday, Dec 29th at 9:00am from Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathleen’s memory to an animal charity of one's choice.
