Obituary for Kenneth W. Salvador
Kenneth William Salvador, 70, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Son of Theresa (Thompson) Salvador and late husband Francisco, he was a lifelong resident of Ludlow where he was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Parish. He worked for many years at Estes in Chicopee, and in his free time, Kenneth enjoyed fishing, music, playing guitar, coaching his son's youth baseball teams and was a lifelong passionate New York Yankees fan; but his greatest joy in life was spending time with his sons and grandchildren. Kenneth was the beloved husband of 48 years to Maria J. (Correia) Salvador; a devoted father to Christopher Salvador and wife Colleen, Ryan Salvador and wife Ashley, David Salvador and wife Rebecca, and Matthew Salvador and wife Caroline; a loving grandfather to Cameron, Kyle, Hanna, McKenna, and William; a dear brother to David Salvador, Sandy Lalonde, and Chip Salvador; and also leaves many loving extended family members, and dear friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 21st. Visiting hours are from 9:00-10:15am in Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Elizabeth Parish followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kenneth’s memory to National Scleroderma Association (national.scleroderma.org)
