Obituary for Kevin M. Perez
Kevin M. Perez, 38, of Belchertown, died on June 29, 2010 at Baystate M.C. after a brief and sudden illness. Born in Manchester Ct, loving son of Carroll and Barbara (White) Perez, he grew up in Amherst, where he graduated from Amherst H.S., and lived in Enfield for 14 years before recently moving to Belchertown. Kevin was a member of East Chicopee Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was very active in his bible based faith. He worked for many years at the former Spalding Co. and for the past 4 years at Amherst College. He also enjoyed golfing and especially spending time with his family at home and on family vacations. Kevin was the loving husband of 16 years to Stacy (O’Shaughnessy) Perez; a cherished and devoted father to Ethan and Alexandra Perez, both at home; a dear brother to Christopher Perez and wife Nancy, of Belchertown, Patrick Perez and wife Angela, of Chicopee, Stephanie Skrocki and husband Jeffrey, also of Belchertown, and Corrie Perez and fiancé Patrick Wetherbee, of Amherst; and also leaves countless extended family members, dear friends, and his spiritual family. Kevin’s family wishes to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff in the Oncology Dept. of Baystate M.C. for their outstanding care and support. A Memorial Talk will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Buckley Recital Hall on the campus of Amherst College at 3pm.Â
