Obituary for Laurie Ann (Gonsalves) Skelly
Laurie Ann (Gonsalves) Skelly, 66, formerly of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2022 in Charleston, South Carolina. She was born in Ludlow on August 26, 1956 to the late Joseph P. and Laura (Palhete) Gonsalves and was a 1974 graduate of Ludlow High School and also attended Westfield State College. She was affectionately known as one of the Golden Girls by her friends and will be remembered as a movie buff, and for her quirky expressions and sense of humor. Laurie leaves her son Shawn Skelly and wife Nicole of Ludlow; daughter Beth Ann Skelly-Hernandez and husband Martin, of Pataskala OH; her brother Glenn J. Gonsalves and husband Jeffery Hetrick, and their 2 sons of Plympton Ma; her 5 grandchildren; as well as many extended family members and dear friends. A graveside memorial service will be held on Monday, December 12th at 12:30pm in St. Aloysius Cemetery (Section O) with Ludlow Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
