Obituary for Lawrence F. Kus
Lawrence F. Kus, 91, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2024, with his family by his side. Larry was the beloved son of the late Francis Kus and was a graduate of Cathedral H.S. He went on to serve in the U.S. Army during the Korean War earning the rank of SGT. Larry was the owner of the former K Sales Carpet Flooring Co, a Sales Manager for the CF Mueller Co., and later retired from the MA Attorney General’s Office. One of his passions was traveling the world, and within the community, Larry was a faithful communicant of Christ the King Parish and a member of its Men’s Guild, and a lifetime member of both the Ludlow Polish American Citizens Club and the Ludlow Elks Lodge. Larry was predeceased by the love of his life and wife of 31 years, Mary Ann (Bielecki) Kus, in August 1988. He leaves his daughter Kimberly (Kus) Fish and her husband Bevin of Monson, MA and his granddaughter Peyton (Fish) Leisner and her husband Hunter of McKinney, TX, son Clete Kus, his wife Tricia and grandchildren Aivree Kus and Grayson Kus of Ludlow, MA, and daughter Clarisa (Kus) Matlasz, her husband Matthew and grand dog Matilda of Ludlow, MA, as well as many extended family members. He was predeceased by his beloved companion of 23 years Patricia Vorce. Celebration of Life funeral services for Larry will be held on Friday, August 9th. Visiting hours are from 9:15-10:15 at Ludlow Funeral Home with by Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00am in Christ the King Parish followed by burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
