Obituary for Lee Schneider
Lee Perl Schneider, age 94 ,died peacefully at BayState Hospital Springfield, MA. Born and raised in Watertown, NY by Perl and Lucy (Ackerman) Schneider on a dairy farm, he moved to Ludlow ,MA in 1960 with his wife Doris (Hevland)Schneider and children. He started Precision Aluminum, a home improvement business in Ludlow in 1960. He was a longtime member of Ludlow Fish and Game Club. He loved to garden and loved to tinker with his father’s John Deere bulldozer. He was a self taught piano player and he loved to watch sports, especially football and the New England Patriots. He is survived by his children: Ronald (Cara) Schneider of MA, Randall Schneider of TN , Keith (Sandra) Schneider of WA, Kevin Schneider of MA, Liane (Larry) Biron of MA ,Linda (John) Harrington of TX , Jon Schneider of MA, Lee James Schneider of CO ,Steven “Max” Schneider of MA, 12 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren, sister in law Audrey, and many nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his parents, wife, daughter Karen Mary Schneider, brothers Edwin and Everett Schneider, and his sister Mary (Schneider) Buskirk. Services celebrating his life will be held privately by his family and arrangements were entrusted to Ludlow Funeral Home.
