Obituary for Leo O. Roberge
Leo O. Roberge, 90, of Ludlow passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, December 8th, 2007. Born in Springfield to the late Octave and Anna (Meher) Roberge, he has lived in Ludlow for the past 60 years and was a faithful communicant of St. John the Baptist Church. Leo worked for many years at Chapman Valve before retiring from the Springfield Foundry. He loved the outdoors and cherished the time he spent with his family and his devoted cat Missy. Leo leaves his beloved wife of 62 years Evelyn (Connor) Roberge; loving daughters Sharyn Drenen and her husband Walter of Southwick and Pamela Letendre and her husband Robert of Belchertown; caring grandchildren Brian Drenen, Robert Letendre, Shannon Drenen, Jennifer Endelos, Laura Drenen, Matthew Drenen, Stephen Drenen, Aimee Letendre and Andrew Letendre as well as 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 9:00AM from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. John the Baptist Church, with Monsignor Homer Gosselin officiating. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours for Leo will be held Monday Evening from 5-8PM
