Obituary for Leo T. Desilets
Leo T. Desilets, 87, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully at home on May 26, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Chicopee, son of the late Arthur and Ida (Morin) Desilets, Leo was a longtime resident of Ludlow. He was employed at Spaulding and most recently for over 25 years as a carpenter for Curran Construction from where he retired. He was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, water skiing, camping, and biking. Leo was the beloved husband of 56 years to the late Carol A. (Willis) Desilets until her passing in 2014. He leaves his loving children, Lori Goulet and husband Ray, Ann Marie Allard and husband Jim,, and Steven Desilets and wife Pam; cherished grandchildren, Mike and Bill Goulet, Casey and Keith Desilets, and Ryan, Shannon, and Eric Allard, and great-grandchildren Cameron, Cole, Charlotte, and Weston; his companion Sue Fuller; as well as many loving extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services for Leo will be held privately by his family and in lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made in Leo’s memory to The Alzheimer's Association or Beacon Hospice 815 Worcester St. Indian Orchard, Ma. 01151.
