Obituary for Leocadia "Lottie" (Witowski) Dudley
Leocadia “Lottie“ (Witowski) Dudley, 82, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2010. Born in Ludlow, daughter of the late Stanislaus and Anna (Truchan) Witowski, she was a longtime resident and a faithful communicant of Christ the King Church, also belonging to it‘s Ladies Guild. Lottie worked for many years at Mass Mutual, Bradlees, Marty’s Soda Mix, and most recently at Smith and Wesson before her retirement and was the past president and treasurer of its Athletic Association. Lottie was the beloved wife of the late Donald Dudley, who predeceased her in 1961; a loving mother to Norman Dudley and wife Beverly, of Ludlow, and Susan Oxx and husband Allan, of Longmeadow; a dear sister to Stanley Witowski, of Ludlow, and the late Irene Woods; a cherished grandmother to Sarah Bowler, Laura Tuck, and Lindsay and Kathryn Oxx; cherished great-grandmother to Michael Tuck and Isaiah Bowler; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 22, 2010 at 9am from Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in Christ the King Church followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Sunday from 3-6pm.
