Obituary for Lillian (Hojnak) Steigmeyer
Lillian (Hojnak) Steigmeyer, 84, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2007. Born in Ludlow, she was a lifelong resident and a graduate of Ludlow High School. She worked for many years for Kmart Corporation before her retirement. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lillian was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Steigmeyer, who predeceased her in 1977, a loving mother to Timothy and his wife Connie, of Indiana, James and his loving partner Rosa Cordiano, of Ludlow, Janet and her loving partner Michael Hynek, of Springfield, and Pamela, of Manhattan, NY; a dear sister of the late Annette Morel; a cherished grandmother to Cheri Lynn Steigmeyer, Jeffrey Steigmeyer and his wife Kim, Brian Steigmeyer and his wife Aimee, Christopher Moutinho and his wife Shanna, Kelli McKenney and her husband Daniel, and Scott and Leslie Steigmeyer; and great-grandmother to Abigayle, Jake, Zachary, Alexandra, Emma, Cole, Ava, Mia Rose and Daniel Jr. She also leaves many other dear family members and friends. At Lillian’s request, all funeral services will be held privately by the family. Ludlow Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements and memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Friends of the Ludlow Senior Center 27 Chestnut St. Ludlow, Ma. 01056 or Hubbard Memorial Library, Attn: Children’s Programs, 24 Center St. Ludlow, Ma. 01056.
