Obituary for Lisa Dawn (Cameron) Mill
Lisa Dawn Mill (Cameron), 62, of Ludlow passed unexpectedly May 30th, 2024. Lisa was born in Ludlow to her late parents Donald Cameron Jr. and Nancy Cameron (Fidalgo) where she grew up alongside her brothers Donald Cameron III and Mark Cameron. Lisa graduated Ludlow High School in 1980. She briefly attended STCC before cutting hair alongside her brother Mark Cameron (who is still missed in the beauty industry). Working her way up in the service industry she managed Top of the Hill restaurant at 2200 Boston Road, Wilbraham where she ultimately met her husband of 29 years David Mill of Brewster, NY. They purchased their first home in Palmer, MA and then moved to Monson, MA in the mid 90’s where Lisa’s love of gardening can still be seen to this day in her beautiful perennial garden.
Lisa was known for her quick wit, her sense of humor, and generous spirit. She leaves behind her brothers, as well as countless friends and family including Heather Groves, Branca Amaral, Mia Alves, Janine Bisaillon-Cary, Arthur Fidalgo and his wife Rita. She also leaves behind her beloved children Andrew Mill and Jorgi Mill to whom she was a dedicated mother to for over 30 years. This dedication also included her granddaughter Sylvia Burbee Mill, her best friend and a near constant companion for the past 9 years. Lisa was a commanding presence, and her absence will be felt by her many loved ones.
Funeral services for Lisa will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024. Visiting hours will be held from 10:00-11:00am at Ludlow Funeral Home concluding with a funeral home chapel service at 11:00am followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery
