Obituary for Lizete Barroso
Lizete M. Barroso, 40, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on June 23,2020, at home, with her family by her side. Loving daughter of Domingos and Maria Judite Barroso, and caring sister to Lucy. Lizete was a lifelong resident of Ludlow and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish. She enjoyed to cook, go for walks, listen to music, and visit Portugal. Lizete was a loving niece to; Julia Barroso and her late husband Domingos, George Barroso and his late wife Helena, Rosa Dias and her husband Antonio. She was a caring granddaughter to Bento and Maria Pereira and late Antonio and Maria Barroso. She leaves behind her cousins; George, Jason, Tony, George, and Bella. She will be truly missed by her family members that reside in Portugal, including her aunt Ana, and her husband Joao Branco, uncle Jose and wife Maria Branco, and cousins; Sergio, late Sandrine, Pedro, Paulo, and Luisa. Along with many other family members and friends. Special thank you to the Baystate Visiting Nurses and Hospice. Funeral services for Lizete will be held on Saturday June 27, 2020. A public walk through visitation will be held from 8:30-10:00 at the Ludlow Funeral Home adhering to State and Local guidelines in regards to no contact, social distancing and PPE. Due to ongoing restrictions additional funeral services will be held privately by the family.
