Obituary for Lois (Budde) Morcavage
Lois (Budde) Morcavage, 78, of Ludlow was called home to be with God on Tuesday, December 18, 2012. Born in Baldwin, Illinois to the late Emil and Erna (Junge) Budde, she was raised in St. Louis and has lived in Ludlow for many years. Lois was a faithful communicant of St. Elizabeth Parish in Ludlow and belonged to the Ludlow Senior Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Leonard Morcavage who predeceased her in 2004. She leaves her loving son Michael Morcavage and his wife Mary of Ludlow; her cherished grandchildren John Morcavage and his wife Lauren and Danielle Morcavage and a great-grandson; Lois also leaves her sister Virginia Powell of Orange, California and several caring family and friends throughout the community. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 from the Ludlow Funeral Home. Visiting hours are Friday morning only from 8:30-9:45am with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:30am in St. Elizabeth Church with Monsignor Homer Gosselin presiding followed by interment in Island Pond Cemetery.
