Obituary for Lorraine (Gaudette) Hines
Lorraine (Gaudette) Hines, 85, of Ludlow passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family on Friday December 13th 2019. Born in Chicopee to the late Emile and Jane (Tabaka) Gaudette she has lived in Ludlow since 1960 and was a faithful communicant of the former St. Mary of the Assumption Church and most recently ChristThe King Church. She worked for the Ludlow School System as a Cook then Cook Manager at the Junior High School for 27 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard G. Hines who sadly predeceased her in 2015. Lorraine leaves her loving sons Michael and Richard Hines and the late Joseph Hines as well as her 3 daughters -in- law Cecelia, Debbie and the late Linda Hines. ; 9 adored grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her sister Dolores Chamberlain. Funeral services for Lorraine will be held on Thursday December 19, 2019 at 9:00am from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Mass celebrated at 10:00am in Christ the King Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday evening from 4:00-7:00pm and in lieu of flowers it was the wish of Lorraine’s family that donations be made in her memory to: Breast Cancer Foundation.
