Obituary for Lucilia 'Lucy' (Natario) Andre
Lucilia “Lucy“ (Natario) Andre, 83, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully at home on December 27, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Ludlow, daughter of the late Jose and Pureza (Alves) Natario, she was a lifelong resident and faithful and active communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, currently St. Elizabeth Parish. She loved crocheting and making homemade crafts, and especially spending time with her loving family. Lucy was the beloved wife of 64 years to Joaquin “Jack” Andre; a loving mother to Denis Andre and fiancée Denise Therrien, of Chicopee, and Corine Thompson and husband Jack, of Ludlow; a dear sister to James “Chick” Natario, of Florida, and the late Americo “Doug” and Alexander “Alex” Natario; a cherished grandmother to Anthony “Tony” Andre and wife Michelle, Kevin Andre and wife Kim, Timothy Andre, and Alyse LaRoche; adoring great-grandmother to Kayla, Zachary, Landon, and Jonathan; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 31, 2012 at 8:00am from Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth Parish at 9:00am followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Sunday from 3-6pm.
