Obituary for Lucille G. (Willard) Adam
Lucille G. (Willard) Adam, 79, of Ludlow, was called to Heaven on Tuesday, October 17, 2006.  Born in Springfield, the daughter of the late Harold and Geneva (DesMarais) Willard, she lived in Ludlow for most of her life where she was a graduate of Ludlow High School and a faithful communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church.  Lucille worked for Milton Bradley for many years before her retirement in 1993 and was an avid hockey fan, but her passion was her loving devotion to her family.  Lucille was the beloved wife of 58 years to Alexander Adam; a loving mother to Linda Patterson and her husband Brian, Cynthia Panico and her husband Edward, Gary Adam and his wife Carolyn, and Wayne Adam and his wife Susan, all of Ludlow, Dean Adam and his wife Teresa of Belchertown and Carol-Ann Magersupp and her husband Robert of Maryland; a dear sister to Philip Willard of Chicopee, Geneva Cullins of Agawam, Patricia Diehl of Washington and the late Lorraine Davis; a cherished grandmother to Lisa and her husband Steve Sambor, Christine, Heather, Carrie, Gennelle, Randy, Michael, Brian, Gage and the late Carolyn and great-grandmother to Nicholas, Karley, Reagan and the late Ryder.  She also leaves many other loving family members and close friends including Daisy, Shirley and Dolores.  Funeral services will be on Saturday morning at 9:30am from Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery.  Visiting hours are on Friday evening from 4-8pm and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lucile’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association 153 Magazine St. Springfield, Ma. 01119.
