Obituary for Lucille (Leroux) Silva
Lucille (Leroux) Silva, age 92, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2020 at the Chicopee Rehab and Nursing Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in Three Rivers and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Marie (Plante) Leroux. In 1946, Lucille married the love of her life, Ermindo Silva, who predeceased her in 1997. They raised their family in the Indian Orchard section of Springfield, later moving to Clearwater, Florida. Lucille lived in Clearwater, Florida until returning to Massachusetts to live with her son in Ludlow. She is survived by her children; Ronald Silva and wife Doreen of Palmer, Gary Silva and wife Kim of Ludlow, Kathleen Mastroianni and her husband Dominic of Florida and Davey Silva of Florida. Sadly, Lucille was predeceased by her son Dennis Silva in 2012 and her siblings Bernard, Paul, Horace, Leona, Louis and Rene. She also leaves 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Lucille’s burial will be private at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, 34 Washington St., Wellesley, Ma. 02481.
