Luisa Fernandes Leano, 98, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Sunday February 21, 2021. Born in Boticas, Portugal she moved to Yonkers, New York in 1960. In 1988 she moved to Ludlow with her immediate family after retiring. She was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church. Luisa was the beloved mother to Lucilia Sanches and her husband Antonio of Ludlow; loving grandmother to Antonio Sanches and his wife Kimberly and Carlos Sanches and his wife Marlene all of Ludlow; adored great-grandmother to Benjamin and Olivia; loving aunt to Maria Dinis, and Maria Fernandes and her husband Manuel and Patricia Sanders and her husband Thomas and Luisa Alves and her husband Joseph; Funeral services for Luisa will be held privately by her family and Ludlow Funeral Home has been entrusted with her arrangements.
