Obituary for Manuel Martins
Manuel Martins, 92, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Saturday May 18,2019. Born in Vila Pouca de Aguiar, Portugal he has lived in Ludlow since 1962 and was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Parish and a former member of the Gremio Lusitano Club. Manuel was the beloved husband of the late Aurora (Goncalves) Martins; he leaves several nieces and nephews including Aurora Martins Almeida and Maria Gamache as well as many extended family and friends; He was sadly predeceased by his sister Anna Martins and her husband Jose. Manuel’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to his caretaker Flo Korsah, for the outstanding care she gave to him. Funeral services for Manuel will be held on Wednesday May 22, 2019. Visiting hours are in the morning from 10:30-11:45am followed by a Liturgy of Christian Mass at 12:30pm in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery.
