Obituary for Manuel S. Rego
Manuel S. Rego, 89, formerly of Indian Orchard, died Friday Dec. 19, 2008. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, he lived in this country since 1970, and retired from Chicopee Undergarment Co. He leaves his wife of 56 years, Albertina (Costa) Rego, 5 sons, Manuel of Chicopee, Jose, Eduardo and John of Ludlow and Liberio of I. O., 2 daughters; Maria Fortunado and Hermenia Henriques, both of Ludlow, 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 8AM from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Church at 9. Burial will be in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are Monday from 4-7 P.M.
