Margaret A. (Barnett) Anderson, 79, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Victoria, TX, daughter of the late Elmer and Viola (Swartz) Barnett, she was a graduate of Patti Welder High School. She then lived most of her life in Springfield where she worked for Friendly's in the Eastfield Mall. She was the loving mother of Robert Anderson and wife Kimberly, Katherine Pedersen and husband Christopher, and Laura Cieplik and husband Mark; a cherished grandmother to Eric, Rachel, Matthew, Tiffaney, Kiirsten, and Erik; great-grandmother of 5; dear sister to Ila Pearl Keesling, and the late Elmer Guy Barnett, Freddie Barnett, and Georgia Francis Hughes; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 18, 2012. A chapel service at Ludlow Funeral Home will be officiated at 11:00am by Rev. William Dwyer followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Friday evening from 4-7pm and on Saturday preceding the chapel service.
