Margaret (Maggie) Lee Cox, 70, of Ludlow, passed away on Saturday, June 7, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 8, 1954, in Waterbury, CT, to Jack Evan Taylor and Mary Ellen Swope. Maggie was a kind and dedicated mother, always willing to give of herself to support others. She worked in medical records and loved tennis, raising her family, and sunflowers. She was funny, sharp-witted, and spoke the truth in tender and caring ways. She is survived by her husband Edward Andrew Cox; daughter Andrea Jane Slota, and spouse Robert Slota; son Evan Lewis Cox and spouse, Katherine Cox; and grandchildren, Andrew and Owen Slota. Private services will be held on June 28 in Worcester, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Myasthenia.org, a foundation supporting people with myasthenia gravis.
