Obituary for Maria A. Da Cruz
Maria A. Da Cruz, 84, of Ludlow , died peacefully on Saturday, December 26, 2009. Born in Macal do Chao, Portugal, she lived in Ludlow the past 43 years. Maria was the widow of Jose da Cruz, who died in 1997. She is survived by two daughters, Maria Dias and her husband Jorge, and Beatrice DaSilva and her husband Alex all of Ludlow, 4 sisters; Menta Bernardo, Tillie Veiga, Diolinda Frutuozo and Guilhermina Amaral, as well as her grandchildren; Kenneth and Christopher Dias and David and Aimee DaSilva, her  great-grandchildren; Gabriella and Laylla Dias.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 AM from the Ludlow Funeral Home , with a Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Mary of the Assumption Church at 10. Burial will take place in Portugal and visiting hours will be Wednesday morning only from 7:30-9 AM.
