Obituary for Maria C. Fragoso
Maria C. Fragoso, 56, of the Indian Orchard section of Springfield, passed away peacefully November 25th, 2008 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Alcobaca, Portugal to Gloria Maria Joaquina Fragoso and the late Joao Fragoso, she has lived in Indian Orchard for 31 years and was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church. Along with her mother, Maria leaves her caring sisters Rosinda Serrazina of Indian Orchard and Teodora Lopes and her husband Manuel of Portugal; cherished brothers Manuel Fragoso and his wife Maria and Jose Fragoso and his wife Rosinda both of Ludlow, as well as several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 29th, 2008 at 10:30am from the Ludlow Funeral Home, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:30am in Our Lady of Fatima Church, followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Friday evening from 4-7pm.
