Obituary for Maria (Da Costa) Phaneuf
Maria E. Phaneuf, 82, Passed away on March 4 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Vila Ruiva, Portugal, to Jose and Maria DaCosta. She worked at Danaher/Craftsman Tool company. She leaves her 2 daughters, Lucy Rohan of Palmer and her husband Scott Rohan, Judy Truchan of Chicopee and her husband Chris Truchan, and her son David Joao of Chicopee. She also leaves 5 grandchildren and 6 greatgrandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, painting, cooking, bingo and the beach. Her true passion was her grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00pm on Friday March 10, 2023, with a Funeral Mass celebrated on Saturday, March 11th at 10:00am in St. Elizabeths Church in Ludlow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, at woundedwarriorproject.org/
