Obituary for Maria Eugenio
Maria Eugenio, 87, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2020 surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Salir do Porto, Caldas da Rainha, Portugal, she immigrated to the United States in 1970 and resided in New Jersey before moving to Ludlow where she was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church. Maria was the beloved mother of Jacinto “Jesse” Natario Eugenio and wife Esilda, Carlos Eduardo Eugenio, and Anabella (Eugenio) Querido; a dear sister to the late Carlos Lourenco and late wife Rosa; a cherished grandmother to Jesse, Nancy, Carlos, Eddie, Johnny and wife Mel, and Amanda; great-grandmother to Dean and Emilia; and also leaves many loving cousins, extended family members, and dear friends both here and in Portugal. Funeral services for Maria will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020. Family and friends are asked to gather directly at Our Lady of Fatima Church at 12:00pm for a Liturgy of Christian Burial followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery.
