Obituary for Maria Helena Barroso
Maria Helena (Vital) Barroso, 60, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 19, 2017. Born in Sabroso, Portugal to the late Albertino and Aduina Vital, she has lived in Ludlow for many years and was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church. Maria was the beloved wife of 36 years to George Barroso of Ludlow; loving mother to Bella Barroso and her boyfriend Chris and George Barroso and his fiancée Marsia; caring sister to Isabel Ferreira and husband Antonio, Jose Vital and wife Lourdes, Laurindo, Eddie Vital and his wife Julie and Tony Vital and his wife Lisa. She also leaves many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and extended family and friends. Funeral services celebrating Maria's life will be held on Thursday, August 24 at 9:00 AM from the Ludlow funeral home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday evening from 4:00 - 7:00pm
